Troubleshooting Woes
Using shockbyte was mostly a positive experience. For the most part, general use of the server and turning it on and off was seamless. However, adding a Minecraft world or trying to troubleshoot could be quite challenging.
Cheap, simple and effective.
Server runs well for the most part although it sometimes struggles with terrain generation when going on long expeditions. There have been some occasional connection issues but they seem to be client side rather than server side. Server crashes occasionally, especially when left unused for long periods but the backups are regular and reliable, even on the free tiers. UI is good but lacks easy access to individual player information.
